Lead with
Care

Educator, school counselor and student support leader Jasmine Pearson knows that caring about students isn't the same as having a system that catches them.

She helps schools, districts and organizations respond to student mental health, crisis and change with clear protocols, confident staff and trauma-informed practice that holds up under pressure.

Real care. Real systems. Real students.

Good intentions aren't a support system.

Most schools aren't short on caring adults. They're short on shared language, clear protocols and the confidence to act when a student is in crisis.

When the plan lives in one person's head, staff hesitate, documentation slips and students fall through the gaps between counseling, administration and families. Compliance becomes a worry instead of a safeguard.

Jasmine brings more than a decade of front-line counseling and leadership to the problem. She gives your team practical frameworks for crisis response, risk assessment, mandated reporting and early intervention, so every adult in the building knows what to do and why it matters.

Meet Jasmine

Why Jasmine gets it

Jasmine Pearson has spent more than ten years in the place where student needs show up first: the counselor's office.

She began her career as a school counselor at Grimsley Senior High School in Greensboro and today serves as Dean of Student Support Services at Athens Drive High School in Raleigh. There she leads a multidisciplinary team of 12 serving more than 2,200 students, overseeing crisis response, behavioral threat and suicide risk assessment, complex case management and the policies that keep it all compliant.

Since 2014 she has also held leadership roles with the National Conference for Community and Justice, guiding high school and college-aged participants through intensive leadership and social justice programming and providing mental health support along the way.

A licensed clinical mental health counselor with an Educational Specialist degree, Jasmine blends clinical insight with on-the-ground school leadership. Audiences don't just leave inspired. They leave knowing exactly what to do on Monday.
